What better way to start off a new year than driving around beautiful snowstruck New Hampshire’s mountains and lakes for 5 hours listening to the best jazz of 2016! And calling it work as I pick up specialty linens from New Year’s events at venues scattered in some of the prettiest locations around!
Watercolors jazz on Sirius XM plays the smoothest jazz normally on a Sunday, and after all, what is Sunday without jazz? An added bonus was realizing after listening for a while, that the host was Brian Culbertson, an outstanding musician, who shared some great insights regarding the musicians featured.
A balmy 40 degrees with blue skies and a foot of fresh snow got me in the zone while cruising along from Newfound Lake , to Conway, to Wolfeboro, and around the “big” lake Winnipesaukee. While most of the local venues are taking a break after ringing in the New Year, I am scouring the web to see which live artists are performing in the near and far future!
